Rakit Experience at Tasik Kenyir, Malaysia ... Fishing and Nature Living simply rejuvenating!

I just had to go back again and that, I did. It was in the month of October 2011 and before the start of the monsoon season and you would have thought giants have drank half the dam away. The water level was that low but that mean great fishing....

Surya Rakit is one of the best places to experience boathouse living. Enjoy the stillness of the night, the lovely morning mist that wafts amidst the myriad hues of green, the comfortable accomodation and no worries, good decent toilets.

The food is an added plus with a fish dish assured for lunch and dinner. It must be the cool weather that sturs up the voracious appetite. Beverages like tea and coffee are availble 24 hours, just help yourself.

Waters will be coming up by March when the monsoon is over. And i hope i will be there again to

touch base with much needed tranquility all over again with my fishing and drinking buddies. I went there with no targets on how many fish to catch and instead i got bucketloads of rest and relaxation that money cannot buy... the fishes were just a bonus!
